Listening to this video, not just watching it reminded me of how I used to teach in classrooms. Many of the silent student’s were trying to silence the student who was talking, only to be silenced by me – kindly. From time-to-time, I explained that the student who was speaking was actually learning, and I also had to explain that too. Hence, this is why in often say, “questions are welcome, sometimes required!”
If you have been reading my posts, you’ll know that the speaker in this video is not alone in this method of teaching, which is why I have stated, and continue to say, students “learn naturally” when speaking freely, and this is how I teach, and how everyone learns best!
