Think about it:
If you’re old enough to compare your learning history, did you learn more from fear, or through enjoyable/fun times?
You had to learn from cramming (forgetting shortly after taking an exam/test), or by enjoying the learning by asking questions and making valuable comments?
Most people will find something to remember by enjoying the lesson!
I try to find enjoyable lessons – some will make you laugh; some will make you chuckle; others should keep you in rapt attention.
This is one way I like to provide learning material. There are enough videos, PDF’s and more material to provide you with interesting material so you don’t need to purchase books.
If you want to communicate as a native, stop trying to accomplish that level by talking like a book… that’s NOT how native speakers communicate – watch some movies to see.
