I.e., logic vs. desires and things new
As I stated in LinkedIn – my only business and social network – I was just cruising around in LinkedIn, checking out what’s new when I ran across this post:
I liked what she said so very much, I asked her if I could post her article/post. We ended up in a conversation which was simply wonderful! A portion of that conversation will be posted here tomorrow.
Stacy is a professional voice artist with a wonderful personality! Also, she is intelligent – a huge plus in my world and experience.
After our conversation, she posted this short video:
In short, our conversation was about the growing Artificial Intelligence (AI) field. She has noticed AI being offered and used in the voiceover field. You’ve heard it if you watch some YouTube videos. What I’ve noticed is the bad pronunciation of some words. Stacy has noticed incorrect voice inflections. To give you an idea on incorrect inflections; how one says, “Hi!” or, “Hello!” will tell the listener a lot. Is he or she tired? annoyed? busy? etc. Getting a computer to express that?
