This past Sunday I was (re?) exploring an app, then a new – to me – widget for this website and discovered some things I either didn’t know, or forgot – accidentally, or on purpose… conveniently or not, about something’s I either didn’t know, or just forgot… hey, something’s I can blame on age 😜
Anyway, all jokes aside, I was reminded that there are some who have actually subscribed, so I have an obligation to post at least twice per week, which, starting today I will do! I am sorry for forgetting 🥺
Here’s a word I’m going to guess that you’ve heard pronounced at least once, and in context, you knew what it meant. Now, look at the word, try to pronounce it, then (as you should always do) read the whole post/definition, examples and all.
Definition of ingénue is an artless, innocent, unworldly girl or young woman. Learn more at: https://www.dictionary.com/browse/ingenue
I grew up pronouncing this word, “ahn gen u“. I’m going to guess, that’s probably how you’ve heard it pronounced as well, but…

The following may confuse you, but let’s do it anyway:
“There is a certain procession for a wedding, for a graduation, et cetera.”

“There is a precession for the earth and the equinoxes.”
