Honestly, there is NO one way that’s best for everyone! Some people need an orderly, no-nonsense learning style; others a more relaxed, a non confrontational style, and while there are others, this one is my favorite – the non confrontational but humorous style.

I think, I believe and have proven that when a teacher presents the information the student needs to learn, and has the student repeat the word (for pronunciation) then gives the definition, then gives and has the student give their own definition, the student has a much higher chance of retaining the information, and using it in live communications.
I’m not the only teacher that teaches this way. The following video is one of my favorites. This teacher lives in England, and teaches as I like to – slightly corny;
Break for a moment: what is corny?
- Definition 1 gives the answer;
Merriam-Webster’s definition of “corny”: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/corny

Okay, hopefully you understand ‘corny’, if not, you should understand the first part of this video. One of my students today caught on quickly, and laughed while learning 😆
Sorry, but once again:
AI only teaches facts without humor or encouraging learning or laughter!
Moving on…
Here is an appropriate vocabulary word for you to learn now. It describes you or anyone who learns (in this example) only the basics:
Merriam-Webster’s definition of “mediocrity”: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/mediocrity

When you no longer want to be mediocre in your English, contact me, register and get started on your enjoyable journey of learning a level of English that’s equivalent to natives of the English language! Communicate with natives of English easily; watch movies in English and understand; listen to radio/podcasts/music and understand!
If you want…
Here’s ways for us to talk;

Here’s a table of contents of what you will find in my website – all in print!

At the bottom of this webpage, before the blogs, are two video testimonies from a current student and a former student now living in the United States.
In closing, here’s something a little unusual, yet very important for you to think about;
